A website is no longer a nice addition to your business. In this digital economy, every business must have a website.
Even if you’re a small local, brick-n-mortar shop, your clients are searching for services like yours online.
In fact, a website has all but taken the place of a business card. You’d never show up to a meeting without a business card, so why show up without a website?
PixelMark makes the process of building your website simple and dependable.
Before learning about PixelMark, I hired a one-person shop web designer who took a large down payment and then stopped taking my calls. Then I went with a well-known national bargain brand, but they never took the time to learn about my business. I paid twice for a website that was never finished… until I met PixelMark.

Websites for overworked business owners allergic to technology
For many business owners, a website is just another item on the list of 1,000 tasks. So they enlist the help of someone offering to do it for free or on the cheap.
You wouldn’t cut corners on your taxes, but what’s wrong with trying to get a cheap website, right?
Maybe it was your cousin, or your business partner’s son’s college roommate, or maybe a “free” build-your-own-site service you saw advertised online
But you found some way to build your website for free. That was months ago and you’re still waiting for a site to launch, or the site doesn’t look anything like you wanted.
You weren’t expecting free to equal unprofessional, in the service you got or how your website looks.
Before working with PixelMark, I hired a programmer to build my website. He asked for 50% upfront, which made me nervous because he didn’t have any references. After he got started with the project, he never finished and I couldn’t get a hold of him. He just vanished. The team at PixelMark quickly put me at ease. They came highly recommended by someone I trust and I saw first-hand the quality in their work. I just wish I had learned about PixelMark before getting burned by the first programmer I hired!

Get the website you want without the hassle of unreliable web developers.
How valuable is your time? Is it really worth wasting it on “free” services and inexperienced college students?
PixelMark websites are built using the most advanced open-source Content Management System (CMS) available. We design it and even give you access if you want it. That may seem like a no-brainer, right? Wrong. Most do-it-yourself and even custom sites are designed using proprietary software. That means your site is essentially held hostage by company that designs it.
That’s not our style. We know you’re going to love working with us. We are so confident of that, We give you access to everything. It’s your site. You paid for it. You should be able to do with it what you want!
Getting my site designed with PixelMark was extremely easy. I thought about going with a big-name on-line website builders, but I am so glad that I chose PixelMark. It was great having an actual person to walk me through the whole process, not some faceless on-line support person. They design a site that gives me all the functionality I was hoping for. I am getting amazing feedback from my clients about how great my site looks and how well it works!

Is “free” eating away at the time you don’t have? Follow the PixelMark process:
Step 1: Discovery, Planning & Marketing Strategy
The goals and objectives established at the outset of the project inform all future decisions, from site structure and messaging, to the visual design of the site.
The first stage of web development gives us a clear understanding of your business, the competition, and your unique competitive advantage. This allows our team to understand your objectives and your ideal target audience.
During this stage you can share what features you want for your new website, such as web forms, image galleries, blogging, etc.
The goal of the discovery stage is also to uncover the desired action(s) you wish your visitors to take when visiting your website. For example, do you want them to subscribe, call, submit a form, download a resource, etc.
Step 2: Graphic Design
Just like builders need blueprints for a new home and cooks use recipes for the perfect dish, the programmer needs a graphical framework to build your new website.
We create that framework for the site with a sitemap and wireframe mockup. Once that is finalized, the next step is to create a visual style consistent with your organization’s brand. These are the tangible deliverables at this stage:
- Up to 5 sketch mockups per page template (up to 3 page templates)
- 1 custom graphic design for home page (up to 5 revisions)
- 1 custom graphic design for internal pages (up to 5 revisions)
- 1 custom graphic design for special use page (up to 5 revisions)
- $100 for each graphic design revision beyond the 5 included
Step 3: Content Creation/Editing
Good design attracts people to your website. Good content keeps them there.
Your web design and written content work together to develop a cohesive branding message. Both design and content are key factors in obtaining a better position in search engine results. That’s why we’ll help you:
- Populate up to 30 webpages with content (text and images provided by client)
- Create/revise content for up to 8 pages, 400 words each
- 1 professional stock photograph per page (up to 8 stock images per website)
- Up to 2 sidebars (when you want sidebar content to vary from page to page)
Step 4: Site Testing & Delivery
Before your new website is launched, it’s built on a production server where only internal audiences and anyone who you share the link with can view it. Testing of the site is critical as there will inevitably be issues that need to be addressed before the site goes live.
There is nothing that erodes a brand more than a website that doesn’t function properly, that’s full of misspellings, or has broken design elements. We test your site on multiple devices (laptops, tablets, and mobile) to see if and where breaks occur.
- Check for misspellings and broken design elements
- Test functionality of forms or other scripts
- Review on multiple browsers (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer)
- Test on multiple devices (laptops, tablets, and mobile)
- Set up monitoring via Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Step 5: Site Maintenance, and Software Updates
We take the car to the mechanic, our kids to the pediatrician, and our life’s problems to the shrink (or bartender). Why should you have to deal with managing your website? Avoid lost productivity and the headache of trying to keep your website up to date. Here’s what included:
- Monthly update to content management system (CMS) and plugins
- Monthly backup of your site content and files, with a weekly database backup
- Additional updates anytime there is a security alert related to CMS or plugins
- Monitor security (minimize and prevent hacking) and performance
- Monthly Google Analytics report customized for your business (available upon request)
Step 6: 2 Hours of Monthly Website Support
PixelMark provides you personal support with 24 hour response times to all your requests.

50% Deposit | 50% At Project Completion (or 60 days)
All website design projects require a 50% deposit, due at the start of project. The remaining 50% is due upon completion or 60 days from date of initial payment, whichever comes first
Speaking of first, if you’d like to push your project to the very front of the line, a full deposit (100% of the total investment amount) will immediately push you to #1 on our production queue.
Please note that any items not included on this list, such as integration beyond basic linking to other online applications, are not included in this section of the proposal and could lead to a higher investment. We don’t like surprises, so the final proposal, agreed upon by PixelMark and the client, will detail any special requests.
